Walk Essentials: A Bag and Clippers

Who needs water? Who cares about trusty shoes? You don’t even need your purse or wallet or ID or $. All you need is a bag and clippers when you go on a walk. Because you never know what lovely alley Roses, what cast-off empty-lot Hawthorne blossoms, what Magnolias planted in the median or at an apartment complex are going to need to come home with you.

You can just use your fingernails to break off branches and flowers, but those can be difficult to maneuver and could damage you and/or the plant. And you don’t technically need a bag, but it makes it so much easier to carry your goods. I can harvest the rose petals that have fallen to the ground to dry at home for tea and medicine with a bag; without they get easily crushed in your pocket.

No offense to Aveda, but this bag of flowers smelled better than their whole product line put together times 100.
