2016: A Year of House Plants

This year I intend to reacquaint with and revive my house plants. They are in desperate need of assistance.

 

Is it strange that I make New Years’ resolutions for my plants? If you consider that our house plants are a reflection of ourselves and our home life, then no, it’s not weird at all.

4 Weeks ‘Till Graduation and the Art of the Pre-Vacation

Technically I have 4 weeks of school until I graduate. But the vacation state of mind starts now!

Post-graduation time isn’t really a vacation. It is the start of the next chapter of my career and life. There is a bureaucratic loophole for all of us students which I intend to apply full therapeutic advantage to: it takes about 3 months for our license to practice acupuncture and East Asian medicine to be issued. I am going on 2 actual vacations during that time, so starting a part-time job isn’t feasible. It has been declared by every ounce of my spirit to be a vacation. Read the rest of this entry »
